BLANKING & SEGMENTS

UPG Electrical provides blanking of various shapes to suit downstream operations. For very large motor and generator applications, UPG Electrical provides segments that are individually blanked out and then stacked and welded or bonded together to provide a complete assembled segment. For example, UPG Electrical produced curved generator segments approximately 36 inches in length, which formed a wind turbine generator 14 feet in diameter when 12 segments are joined together.

UPG Electrical also produces blanks of various shapes and sizes for prototyping requirements.
